Sashimono Labs Sàrl attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data is collected via the website https://www.sashimonolabs.com, for what purposes, on what basis, with whom it is shared and what your rights are.
It complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

2. Data we collect
We collect only the data necessary for the purposes described below.
a) Data you provide via the contact form
Name, email address and the content of your message. This data is provided voluntarily when you contact us.
b) Technical browsing data
When you visit the site, certain data is processed automatically by the host for operational and security purposes: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, date and time of the visit. We do not use any audience-measurement tool.
We do not collect special categories of data and carry out no automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Recipients and processors
Your data is neither sold nor shared with third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed by providers acting on our behalf (processors), strictly as necessary:
- Hosting: Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Geneva), Switzerland, data hosted in Switzerland.
5. Data transfers
Your data is hosted in Switzerland (Infomaniak). We do not transfer your personal data outside Switzerland. Should a third-party tool involving a transfer abroad be added, this policy would be updated and appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) would be put in place.
6. Retention period
We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- Messages and contact data: up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless a contractual relationship is established.
- Technical data / server logs: a maximum of 24 months (depending on the host’s configuration).
- Data subject to legal obligations (accounting): the applicable statutory retention period (10 years under Swiss law for accounting records).
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure (hosting in Switzerland, encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted access to data). As no system is infallible, we cannot, however, guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
In accordance with applicable law, you have the following rights over your data:
- the right of access and information;
- the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
- the right to erasure;
- the right to restriction of and objection to processing;
- the right to data portability (GDPR);
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect.
To exercise these rights, write to dpo@sashimonolabs.com. We may ask you for proof of identity to prevent disclosure to a third party.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:
- in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch;
- in the EU/EEA: the data protection authority of your country of residence.
9. Cookies
The site uses only strictly necessary cookies for its operation and security, which do not require your consent. We currently use no audience-measurement, advertising or third-party cookies. Should this change, this policy would be updated and, where applicable, a consent mechanism would be put in place.
